Gene Hardenburg sent us this great photo taken on April 19th,
of 2005.

A blue tagged contest brown trout
is released in Jim Thorpe in 2004. You can see the tag to the left of
the dorsel fin. We hope you landed one of these in the past.

LRSA Director, Dean Druckenmiller with a 16" small mouth
caught on the Lehigh River on 09/05/04.

Michael Glose of Allentown,
caught this 6 pound walleye in the Lehigh River on a night crawler.
Now this is one of the best Lehigh River walleye's I have seen come
from the river.

This was a nice 14" rainbow that my client caught on Monday
07/07/03 on his drift trip with "Fly Fish Pennsylvania." Great
fish and fight, jumped about 2 feet out of the water on the hook set.

Fly Fish Pennsylvania client gets into a trout on a drift boat
trip on the Lehigh River.

Gene Hardenberg sent us this photo of a nice Lehigh River brown
trout. This trout was caught on a cool evening on 05/15/03.

So when you have a slow day fishing? Enjoy the surroundings and
have a great time on the Lehigh River. (Gene Hardenberg Photo)

Bill Hall with a nice rainbow on the river. Bill was on a drift boat trip with Kirby's Guide Service.

Brian Tarter is one the leading fly fisherman on the

Dean Druckenmiller at Fly Fish PA, took two clients (Nate above)
down the Lehigh River. The photo above and below are just two of the
many trout they landed and released.

A nice 15 inch brown trout, landed by Tim. What a great
way to spend the day.

Rich Appert shows off another fine trout. He loves the
Lehigh River and thanks the LRSA for their hard work.

Rich Appert, landed and released this nice 18 inch brown trout
below the Cementon Falls on October 20th 2004.

Two for One
Once again, we are giving a free 2006 sponsorship to anyone that recruits
two new sponsors. Ask your friends, ask your neighbors, ask anybody
that might care about the mighty Lehigh. Come one, come all, and come
have a ball.

Mission Statement
The Lehigh River Stocking Association is a nonprofit, 501C-3 public
organization dedicated to the restoration, revitalization and restocking
of the Lehigh River. Our goal is the continuous improvement of this
waterway and its tributaries. Our objectives are to insure clean water,
a healthy and balanced ecosystem, an abundant fishery and access points
for all citizens to enjoy. This will be to the benefit of all interests;
including the businesses located throughout this region, the sportsmen
and the people of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This project has
been ongoing for the last sixteen years with ever-increasing success.
We need and ask for your support for this outstanding program to continue.
LRSA's, Datasonde 3 Hydroprobes

We now have probes in the river 24/7 monitoring pH, Dissolved Oxygen,
conductivity, turbidity, and level at Northampton. Matt MacConnell (see
photo) removes the probe on right for data download. The clean probe
on left will take it's place for a week of water quality monitoring.
See more on our Watershed Information page.
