The River

The Lehigh River is home to many species of fish: trout, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, pickerel, panfish, carp, catfish and the notorious muskellunge (muskie).

Rainbow and brown trout average between 13" - 17" in length and anglers frequently catch trout over 20".  There are large numbers of small mouth bass in the river between 8" - 14".  Occasionally these fish are caught in the 18" - 21" range.  Anglers are reporting increasing numbers of muskie between the 30" - 52" range.
